Wed, 4th May 2011  After having settled into a live-in relationship and a bond of bliss for close to four years, director Anurag Kashyap and Kalki Koechlin decided to get naughty. Er, make that knotty.
In traditional South Indian style, Kashyap and Koechclin recently strode into matrimony at Kalhatty, on the outskirts of Ooty. The ceremony that commenced at 10.30 a.m took place under a century old mango tree that the villagers consider very auspicious.
Koechlin was decked up in a white and gold sari while Kashyap was clad in a white kurta and lungi. Their families together with 40 other guests gorged on the sumptuous traditional vegetarian meals served on banana leaves.
Among those who graced the marriage were Anurag's sibing Abhinav Kashyap and his spouse, director Vikram Aditya Motwane, producer Shahnaab Alam, Vikas Bahl, Piyush Mehra and Rahul Bhatt, among others.  |
